Pool Ball Racks

Rack em up!
The pool ball rack is a shape in which you place the pool balls in to set up the balls at the beginning of a pool game. Pool ball racks come in basically two shapes, triangle ( for eight ball, snooker etc.) and diamond shape (nine ball ).

There is a wide variety of materials in which the racks can be made of. Just like most pool table accessories, you can match the material in which the item is made with the decor of your pool table. It is not uncommon for a rack to be made of fine hardwood, but a plastic rack does the same job at a lower cost.
